PriceLabs vs Wheelhouse: which is better for UK hosts?
On paper they cost the same: $19.99 a month for one listing. The differences are in what you pay as you grow, which channels they talk to directly, and how much it costs to choose the listings you’re compared with.
The short answer
- you sell on Vrbo or Booking.com without a property management system
- you have 2 to 9 listings: its sliding scale is cheaper there
- you want lots of fine controls, minimum stays included
- you want to build your own competitor sets (a paid add-on)
- you'd like a 1% plan without emailing support to get it
- you want a free plan to look at your market first

Which is cheaper?
For one listing it's a tie at $19.99 a month. After that PriceLabs gets cheaper sooner: it discounts from the second listing, while Wheelhouse's flat rate only drops (to $16.99) at 10 listings.
Our maths, flat-fee plans: 3 listings cost $49.97 a month on PriceLabs and $59.97 on Wheelhouse. 5 listings: $79.95 vs $99.95. 10 listings: $144.90 vs $169.90. PriceLabs adds taxes where they apply; check Wheelhouse's checkout for the same.
Both also offer 1% of revenue instead. Wheelhouse's version excludes taxes and fees, with a minimum of $2.99 per listing a month; PriceLabs' is 1% of the revenue it sees from your channel or system, and you ask support to switch. For one listing, 1% beats $19.99 when a listing books less than about $2,000 a month.
Who decides which listings you're compared with?
This is where the two differ most. Wheelhouse lets you build your own competitor sets, called Dynamic Sets, at $12.99 per set a month. PriceLabs builds neighbourhood data from up to 350 similar-sized listings within up to 15 km, and sells custom market dashboards from $9.99 a month.
If your guests really compare you with a handful of specific places, say the other lodges on your park, a hand-picked set matters more than a wide radius. That's worth paying for, or choosing a tool where it's included.
Channels: the big practical difference
PriceLabs connects directly to Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com. Wheelhouse lists Airbnb as its only direct booking channel; to price Vrbo or Booking.com you go through one of its property management system partners. If you sell on several channels without a property management system, that settles it in PriceLabs' favour.
Who each one suits
PriceLabs suits you if
You run a few listings across several channels, you like control, and you'll take the time to learn it. G2's review summary notes some find its interface complex for beginners.
Wheelhouse suits you if
You're on Airbnb or a supported property management system, you want to hand-pick your competitors and are happy to pay per set, and you value round-the-clock chat support. G2's summary also notes its interface can feel overwhelming at first.
