Why hosts look for a Wheelhouse alternative

To be fair to it: Wheelhouse's 1% plan leaves taxes and fees out, it offers "24-7 email and chat support plus Zoom calls", it lets you mix rule-based and data-driven pricing, and G2 reviewers rate it 4.9 (92 reviews on 2 October 2026).

The alternatives, one by one

PeakRate (that’s us)

We built PeakRate after running our own lodges on pricing tools. The thing we wanted most, choosing exactly which listings we're compared with, is the thing most tools charge extra for. In PeakRate it's the core of the product. You choose your competitors, on every plan: accept the ones PeakRate finds nearby, add any Airbnb listing by its link, or remove one. Then see each competitor's price night by night, when they're booked, and who just cut or raised, next to a suggested price for you. It's priced in pounds: Host is £49 a month for up to 3 properties, Pro £129 for up to 10, Portfolio £279 for 25, with a 14-day free trial and no card. Nothing changes until you approve it.

Where it falls short today: PeakRate sends prices through your property management system, and right now that means Hospitable only. More integrations are coming soon (see the latest). Not on Hospitable? You can still run our free Airbnb listing audit, which compares your listing with similar ones nearby. More on where PeakRate fits →

PriceLabs

The closest swap, and cheaper as you grow: $19.99 a month for one UK listing, $49.97 for 3 and $144.90 for 10 (Wheelhouse: $59.97 and $169.90), in US dollars plus taxes, with a 30-day trial and no card. It connects directly to Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com and to more than 150 property management systems. Full PriceLabs vs Wheelhouse comparison →

Beyond

If you want pounds and to pay only when you book: 1% of bookings on Growth, 1.25% on Pro, charged on the nightly rate plus guest-paid fees such as cleaning. Your first $5,000 USD of bookings are free. It connects directly to Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com. Custom competitor sets are on Pro. Full Beyond vs Wheelhouse comparison →

Hospitable Dynamic Pricing

Included in Hospitable's Host (£25 a month, up to 2 properties), Professional (£49) and Mogul (£79) plans, excluding VAT. It chooses comparable listings automatically and you can't change them; it updates every 24 hours and works only in markets Hospitable supports. Hospitable vs PriceLabs →

AirDNA Adapt

$20 per synced listing a month in US dollars, with a 30-day trial from your first sync. Like Wheelhouse's Dynamic Sets, you can edit your competitor set (up to 100 listings), but it's included. Airbnb is its only direct channel too, with Guesty, Hospitable, Hostaway, OwnerRez and Uplisting supported. PriceLabs vs AirDNA →

Guesty PriceOptimizer

Only if you use Guesty. On Guesty Lite, the bundle with PriceOptimizer is $9 per listing a month (billed yearly) plus 1% of reservations; on Guesty Pro its price isn't published. You build your own competitor "market groups", and prices update every 24 hours. PriceLabs vs Guesty PriceOptimizer →

DPGO

A budget option: $18 per listing a month, or $1 per booked night, with a 30-day trial and no card. It bills in US dollars every two weeks, connects to Airbnb and a handful of property management systems (iGMS, Hostfully, Hostaway, OwnerRez), and states no UK presence.

Airbnb Smart Pricing

Already in your Airbnb calendar at no extra charge, with a minimum and maximum price, for Airbnb only. Discounts can take the guest price below your minimum. Is Smart Pricing good enough? →

We run holiday lets in the North West and used PriceLabs on our own lodges. What we wanted was simple: to see our price against the specific listings our guests actually compare us with, night by night, and know what to change. So we built PeakRate to do that.
